CONSULTING

This is the major part of what we do. With decades of experience in the tree business along with being a certified arborist, we bring a great deal to the table and add value to your project.

TAGGING

When you call nurseries and simply have them mark the number of trees you want, you may not get the best trees. We have decades of experience in tagging the best each supplier has to offer. Let us do it and get exactly what you have in mind.

TREE RISK ASSESSMENT QUALIFIED

TRAQ is a special designation, we are able to access potential hazards that trees can cause. If a tree is diseased, we can tell you. If it is threatening the structures around it, we can inform you. We can give our recommendations and reduce your potential liability.

About

Richard Veyna speaks about his experience… “I grew up in the family business, Orange County Nursery.  I started early and was encouraged to learn everything. After graduating from Loyola University, I traveled the Southwest United States meeting the needs of Nursery and Landscape Professionals. In 1991, I went on my own, as broker of Large and Rare Trees. I became a Certified Arborist. With a lifetime of experience in the industry, I am active in solving problems for my clients. Whether it be locating a  great number of trees, procuring huge trees or diagnosing what might be wrong with a sad tree, we get it done. Like my father and his father before him, I have spent my entire life with trees. I can truly say, Trees are part of my DNA.”

On the left a group of pines were infested with Mites. We identified them before they infected over 1000 trees around them.

On the right a large group of Oaks were affected by root rot. We recommended correcting the water flow causing the problem.

SUCCESSFUL SOLUTION

A very prestigious client called for a 120" box Quercus agrifolia. They wanted it established in the box for over a year, planted over the edge of a slope with equipment and warranted for a year. We found the specimen, recommended a contractor, supervised the installation and monitored the tree.

IT IS STILL THRIVING.

A large developer purchased a property in order to develop it. A large Oak tree had been growing there for years and they wanted to preserve it. We were called in to determine the safest way to do that. We drew up the specifications for its protection. The project moves forward!

PROLEM SOLVED.

We were asked to analyze a group of Eucalyptus trees along a busy street in preparation for the construction of a new building. We found the trees to be defective and diseased. We aided the client in finding a group of trees to grow on for his future use.
